We have been at the Fairground Farmers Market for over 70 years. We have been blessed to have spent over half of our lives in the Reading area and to have met and served such fine people. Keagys currently operates 2 stands in the market under the blue roofs. The smaller stand has many unique products.
We have a special bond with many of our customers. Paul Keagy Sr. started the business in 1949 and worked at the stand until 2005 when he went to his heavenly home. Paul Keagy Jr. has been working t the stand since the early 1960’s. We have been blessed over the years with an abundance of great employees that have worked at the stand. Some time in the near future, the 3rd generation, Ryan Keary will take ownership.
Our staff headed by Jim, Joe and Ryan have spent most of their lives in the produce business and pride themselves on staying on top of market buying trends.
Business features – Customer service is our #1 goal. We provide personalized service and provide quality, fresh produce.
We strive to handle the best quality fruits & vegetables that we can possibly get and carry locally grown produce when in season. We are local farmers and sell some seasonal produce that is grown on our farm in Lancaster County. We carry a variety of fruit baskets & fruit and vegetable trays which are made fresh when ordered.
During the summer we pick our own homegrown sweet corn. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card and EBT transactions.
